Big Sky Secrets is the perfect wrap up of the Big Sky series. Landry Sutton, buffalo rancher, doesn't make a good first impression on his neighbor, young widow Ria Manning. Ria is starting over with a flower farm following the death of her firefighter husband. She and Landry are both attracted to each other but cautious acting on it as they've both had failed relationships in the past.
What a great ensemble of characters! Landry and Ria are such a cute couple. It's refreshing to read a story where there's such a sweet old fashioned courtship instead of a mad dash to the bedroom.
I especially liked the cameos from the couples in prior books in the series. It’s great to see that they’re well and still blossoming in their own romances.
The story is well paced and the characters don't get bogged down with unnecessary dialogue or too 'in their head' that the story lags.
I also like the fact that you don’t have to read all the books in the series (or in any particular order) for each individual story to make sense, but it’s certainly recommended!
I've read Linda Lael Miller's books for years and she has never failed to deliver a well-developed emotional story.
The "First Lady of the West," #1 New York Times bestselling author Linda Lael Miller delivers the stunning finale of her acclaimed series set in Parable, Montana—where love awaits
Self-made tycoon Landry Sutton heads to Hangman Bend's Ranch to sell his land to his brother Zane. Though he's got cowboy in his blood, Landry plans to return to city life before the dust even settles on his boots. Of course, he didn't count on falling for Big Sky Country…or Ria Manning.
Ria's starting to settle into country life herself…until she has a close encounter of the terrifying kind with a buffalo. Turns out the peeping monster belongs to the cowboy next door—and he has her running even more scared than his bison. She wants a home where the buffalo don't roam, and the men don't either. Could Landry's homecoming be her heart's undoing?
