The Valentine's Day Disaster

A Twilight, Texas Novella

"The Valentine's Day Disaster" by Lori Wilde was a sweet short contemporary romantic novel. We find Sesty Snow is the event planner in charge of this year's 'Twilight's annual Valentine's Day Bachelor auction.' Sesty had recently broken up from a relationship and now her former HS sweetheart, Josh Langtree, who had left Twilight, Texas, some ten years ago, was back. Josh had been injured during a NASCAR race and his career was now on hold while he is recuperating from a knee injury. Now, will Sesty and Josh get back together in this magical town of Twilight and live 'happy ever after?' This had been the first love for each of these two. Be ready for an adventurous story with the 'Bachelor auction', revisit of a first love and a tornado. The characters of "The Valentine's Day Disaster" were all so well-developed, well-portrayed and colorful, only to give the reader a good smooth well-written read. This read is one that will put a smile on your face as you will be kept turning the pages until the very end.

"The Valentine's Day Disaster" is a great read that I would definitely recommend.

A Twilight, Texas Novella

Valentine's Day can be a real disaster … even in a town like Twilight, Texas!

These days, event planner Sesty Snow is no fan of hearts, flowers, or goo-goo eyes over dinner. She's learned to be in control of her life and her emotions. Still, running Twilight's annual Valentine's Day bachelor auction is right up her alley—until her high school sweetheart zooms back into town. He's still heart-stoppingly handsome, but it's clear he hasn't changed the daredevil ways that put the brakes on their first love.

Injured NASCAR driver Josh Langtree isn't up for being anyone's sweetheart these days either. He's just looking for a place to lick his wounds … until a misunderstanding lands him doing community service in Sesty's auction. Soon he finds himself standing in front of hundreds of screaming women—wearing a tux and a smile. And then there's Sesty—looking as tempting as ever.

He says he's changed, and the sparks between them are flying fast and furious, but can Sesty trust Josh to take the wheel and drive her into the future she never dreamed possible?
