The Unmasking

"The Unmasking" by Adriana Kraft is a wonderfully told suspenseful, mystery and romantic story that is a fast paced read. Its setting is the little town of Trillium, Minnesota. This author duo gives us a story of an undercover detective (Nancy Appleby) who is out to get a rapist off of the campus of Blackthorn College. We find that Matt Bayfield is an anthropology professor who presents Celtic Studies. Will these studies have something to do with the rape cases that are happening on the campus? Who is this serial rapist really after? Will there be an attraction between Nancy and Matt who are so completely opposite? Yes, there was definitely some sexual tones between this hero and heroine. Even though they both decide to see each other "with no strings attached," will they be able to walk away after Nancy has broken this case? This is where I say you must pick up "The Unmasking" to see how Adriana Kraft brings it all together so well. Be prepared to be surprised on who the rapist is. I really loved how this Adriana Kraft gave the reader a suspenseful mystery and intertwined a hot steamy romance. It’s all wound up into a good script that kept me on the edge of my seat turning the pages till the end. The characters are all very well developed and well portrayed. They have some flaws, but are still fascinating. I love how the author brought in Nancy's dog Malaki.

In the end I felt that "The Unmasking" was a well written novel that I can recommend to you as an excellent read.

The stalker has his own carefully crafted timetable, with a special date just for Nancy. Can Matt and Nancy force him out of his hidey-hole before it’s too late?
