Serenity Harbor

Haven Point, #6

The author did a very good job at giving the reader a sweet contemporary romance. Within the pages you get an engaging story set in Haven Point. This is the sixth book in the series and you won’t want to put it down once you settle in for the wonderful story.

I found this an interesting read about Katrina Bailey. Her backstory is that she was stranded in Columbia when her boyfriend leaves her. She ends up teaching English and adopting a down syndrome child from the orphanage. From there she ends up going back to “Haven Point” to be the bridesmaid for her sister. But the adoption has some problems.

Once Katrina is back in Haven Point she ends up being hired as a nanny by one sexy, self-made computer-tech millionaire. Bowie Callahan has a younger half-brother and Katrina needs the job. The money is great for Kat. It pays $12,000 for three weeks! The money will help her out with the adoption problems.

Now there was more to this story as we find out that little Milo is suffering from autism. This is all new for Bowie. He’s just found out his estranged mother, Stella, had passed away and left behind six year old Milo. Bowie has vowed to take care of him.

Katrina has sworn off men and Bowie has new responsibilities. Katrina finds Bowie arrogant! But will that all change after they get to know each other and learning about each of their childhoods? This is where I will say that you will have to pick up this good read.

I liked how this story brings in two special need children. Gabriela and Milo are both very much in the picture. The author draws readers into this very warm and loving story. She shows adults giving unconditional love. It will simply melt your heart. You will receive a lot from this heartwarming read.

I recommend "Serenity Harbor"!

Book Blurb for Serenity Harbor

In the town of Haven Point, love can be just a wish—and one magical kiss—away…

Computer-tech millionaire Bowie Callahan is about the last person that schoolteacher Katrina Bailey wants to work for. As far as she can see, he's arrogant, entitled and not up to the task of caring for his young half brother, Milo. But Kat is, especially if it brings her closer to her goal of adopting an orphaned little girl. And as her kindness and patience work wonders with Milo, she realizes there's more to sexy, wary Bo than she'd ever realized.

Bo never imagined he'd be tasked with caring for a sibling he didn't know existed. Then again, he never pictured himself impulsively kissing vibrant, compassionate Katrina in the moonlight. Now he's ready to make her dream of family come true…and hoping there's room in it for him, too…
