"Need You Now" is Emma Douglas’ debut novel. It starts the Cloud Bay series and already the publisher has three books set to release in 2017. I expect you will be adding them to your must read lists.
This first novel in the Cloud Bay series was a good, engaging and enjoyable read. It will keep your attention as you're introduced to two characters, Faith and Caleb. As the story starts we find Faith carrying on the traditional yearly music festival that has celebrated her father's [who has died] band there on Cloud Bay. It is there that she meets Caleb who is a world class tennis star. He has recently announced his retirement.
Readers get to be a part of Faith and Caleb’s story as the experience the meeting of these two. Caleb isn't looking for any type of relationship, but, there is an attraction on both sides. "Need You Now" became really interesting as the author took me down the path of Faith and Caleb’s growth. It was interesting to be right there as their relationship grew, especially with all of the issues that Faith had and with Caleb not being anywhere ready to want to settle down. I liked how the author was able to give the readers a beautiful setting of this small town where we also found some rather interesting residents along with Faith's sister and brother.
Will Faith and Caleb get their HEA? Of course, this is a romance.
I recommend readers pick up this first book and get introduced to the residents of Cloud Bay.
