I enjoyed Maybe This Christmas. I found for the most part it was a good romantic read. Once you start reading Maybe This Christmas you will find it hard to put down. If you’re looking for a holiday read, add this to your list.
I liked how this author developed this storyline about Tyler and Brenna. Both of these people had some personal problems that needed solving. Tyler is an ex-champion skier due to an injury. He has an ex and a daughter. Then there is Brenna who had a troubled childhood of feeling unloved by her mother. This plays into her adulthood? Tyler and Brenna have been friends since childhood friends. Can there be more between these two?
Brenna has always loved Tyler, but he really didn't reciprocate at first. Later it seems like he does replicate, but is afraid to commit. Will Brenna be willing to settle for part of a relationship? As you read you will see a relationship growing out of a strong friendship. I will say I did like the relationship between Tyler and his daughter Jess who seemed to bring a lot to the story. I did find this story a little puzzling at times. Why was that? I can’t say as it might ruin the story for you. This is where I say you will have to pick up this book to see how the author brings it all together for the reader. I will say that these two coming together was a long process. However after being pushed together they will find their HEA.
I found Maybe This Christmas a good heartwarming story. It’s setting is Vermont. It’s the perfect setting for a holiday romance. I recommend this book.
This winter, ex-skiing champion, reformed heartbreaker and single dad Tyler O'Neil has only one mission—making sure his daughter, Jess, has the best Christmas ever. Then when Tyler kisses Brenna, suddenly the relationship she's always dreamed of feels so close she could almost touch it. Could this be the Christmas her dreams of a happy-ever-after finally come true?
