Destiny's Captive is a very interesting historical romance and is number three in the Destiny series. This book is definitely one read that will keep your attention for the most part because it has lots going on. The author has outdone herself with this wonderful story.
Readers who are into adventure and pirates will want to snap this gem up. It has a good romance and storyline all the way to the end. Be prepare for an awesome romance that will be encased with some real interesting secrets. The setting is Cuba, Florida and California 1870's.
This story had a very interesting plot. I did find it somewhat confusing at times. It has some twists and turns with a few secrets. Those kept me reading and guessing.
What I especially liked about the novel....
The heroine Pilar was a very interesting character. She was so likable as well as strong. She shows kindness, however she wasn't just any women..."she steals a ship". Then there was the hero, Noah. He had a real dark side, but when it came to Pilar he was so taken with her.
Truly these two were perfect for each. The book does have some hot steamy scenes.
I recommend historical romance readers get a copy of this. However it may be a good idea to read the first two books in the series first. They will help readers make a better connection to this story.
Here is a little summary of The Destiny Series: From the Author's Winter 2013 Newsletter
