The Unexpected Gifts

A Christmas Anthology

All of these stories have to deal with Christmas Eve or Christmas Day and are good stories. You be glad to pick this anthology up to read. The book really needed a contents page, but that was missing.

Book Title: A Christmas Intervention

Genre: Contemporary

Veronica gets a present on her desk from a “secret admirer”. She is surprised because she says she not the type to get gifts from men because most men treat her as a “friend”. As she holds the present in her hands her man friend, Cade-a man she wishes came with a “friend with benefits” sign, comes into the room and she drops her present. Cade picks it up and she opens the present to find long stemmed roses with baby breath. Cade get mad at the present because it from a secret admirer and leaves the room. More presents come in the following days and Cade keeps getting madder. What is going on here: who is the secret admirer? Why is Cade getting angry? This shot story is so predictable. You have only 2 girls and 1 guy in this story so you know who the “secret admirer” is long before the story is over. The sex scenes are not erotic as compared to other stories I have read.
