The Dragon's Descent

An Ether Novel, #3

This is a wonderful middle grade book that is part of a series of books that tells the story of a young guardian angel named Vero. We first met Vero in Laurice E. Molinari’s first book in the series called The Ether: Vero’s Rising. It tells the story of how young Vero comes to Earth in archangel Uriel’s arms and is placed with his human mother. In addition, the story also told us about Vero’s sister Clover, his best friend Tack, other guardian angels in training who are his friends, full angels and many more characters. Unlike other stories in this series, this it’s not a happy one since Vero is going on his last major quest as a guardian angel in training that hopefully at the end of it will mark his transition into a full guardian angel. However, if he does become a full fledge guardian angel Vero will no longer live on Earth as a human so his body must die on Earth and his soul will go live in the Ether.

Last, the author pulled me into her story from the first page and kept my attention until the end of it. Each character had their own dialogue that came off as original and true to form for that character. The pacing was great and made this book a pleasure to read.

Can Vero find “The Book of Raziel” that God wants him to find?

Book Blurb for The Dragon's Descent

Everything Vero has trained for in the Ether has led to this. In the third and final book of Laurice E. Molinari’s Ether series, the young guardian angel Vero is given the quest of locating the Book of Raziel—which was lost when Adam was forced to leave the garden of Eden. And not even Raziel himself knows where the book is now. It soon becomes clear, however, that Lucifer is intent on finding the book for his own means.

When the C.A.N.D.L.E. library in the Ether is missing the information he needs, Vero, his sister, and his best friend, Tack, discover the clues to the book’s whereabouts may be right in front of them on Earth—and that Vero’s father’s new assignment in Sri Lanka may be no coincidence. As their quest begins in earnest, the lines between good and evil begin to blur. Vero will need to use every ounce of his training to take on not only the Devil and his hordes, but also Lilith, who may be lurking closer than anyone thinks.
