When you use your boss to alleviate your dying grandfather's wish that you will be okay, be careful that you don't bite off more than you can chew. Keeley is Ciaran's chef. She watches while he brings back girl after girl, most definitely a womanizer. As the story progresses we see that both Keeley and Ciaran are more than they appear. One being a silkie, and the other a descendant of Faerie folk.
Needless to say, things heat up between both of them. This is one helluva ride. I recommend you sit back and enjoy the ride.
I hope the story continues, and if so, I hope I have a front row seat for the fireworks. Enjoy!
Keeley McNamara’s grandfather is dying, and even her faerie magic can’t save him. She'll do almost anything to make his final days happy, even making him think her pain-in-the-ass-but-extremely-sexy boss is the man of her dreams. Ciaran Clifton is nobody’s hero. A Silkie, banished from the sea, his only way back is to prove he can care for someone other than himself. He has no problem "caring" for his quirky new personal chef but every Silkie instinct cries for him to claim her as his mate. To do that, Ciaran fears he’ll have to deny his heritage and the sea he loves. When Keeley realizes just how high a price Ciaran must pay for their love, will she have the strength to let him go?
