The Fire Inside

This was a very good book. I've never read this author before and I was impressed by the way the story flows throughout the novel. I was able to share in the heartache and joy of this wonderful love story. Keep up the good work.

Tyra is a lone wolf, she witnessed the murder of her family and her entire pack by a heartless bald headed man when she was a little girl. She is working at a bar and when she is closing up she has to overcome the advances of an unwanted male. Konrad is following her scent when he finds her trying to prevent the advances of another male. Konrad steps in and helps to discourage the male's advances. She also happens to be his mate. Konrad must help Tyra to recognize her emotions for what they are. She closed herself off to help her make it through the painful loss of her family and her pack. Will she be able to accept Konrad as her mate, and take her place by his side with his pack.

Book Blurb for The Fire Inside

Werewolves be damned. Tyra Smith chose to leave behind her nature to protect her heart after the wrenching loss of her pack. She wants nothing to do with another wolf. Never again wants to feel the deep pain of loss. At least until a sexy-as-sin wolf named Konrad shows up, saving her from the roaming paws of another.

The sparks of lust ignite a desire that burns with hellish intensity, making Tyra crave something she’d vowed to forsake. The ability to resist wanes. Is it a true mate bond that pulls her to Konrad or just the heat cycle she’s entering? Only time can tell.

When a real threat from another pack presents itself, Tyra must move into Konrad’s den for her physical protection. But as things heat up between them, who will protect her heart?
