This is the sixth book of Tales of the Order and this series just keeping on meeting expectations. This is a wonderful and enduring series that I know others will enjoy.
In this installment we meet a new group of magical creatures called Satyr's. They are known for their ability to create a garden paradise and be responsible for its care and upkeep.
The Order has acquired Dunnemore Castle through the generosity of Lady Dunnemore whose only request is to reside in the castle until her death, and keep Kyndall as her personal assistant.
Shayla, the Sorceress of the Ancients agrees and brings magic back into Anna's life. However before the members of the Order can inhabit the lush estate grounds of Dunnmore Castle the grounds must be safe for all of the Order's magical inhabitants.
Thus the reader is introduced to Soland leader of the Satyr's as well as his daughter Autumn. Since losing his mate Spring during childbirth Autumn has been his world. He uproots her from their humble home to come to Dunnmore Castle and make the grounds safe for all the Order.
Kyndall meets Soland under less than hospitable circumstances while she tries to dissuade poachers from hunting on the castle grounds. She had it handled and then along comes Soland like a knight in shining armor, but because of Kyndall's past she has no need for a knight in shining armor, let alone the feelings he stirs in her. In her experience if you care, you become a victim. Kyndall has sworn to never be a victim again.
Can Soland make it past Kyndall's walls protecting her heart, so that they can both find the love and companionship they both desparately need?
Book 6 in the Tales of the Order series.
Since his wife died, Soland Leigh's daughter Autumn has been his whole world. Now, though, the time has come for him to step up and behave like the leader of the Satyrs that he is. The Order has acquired additional acreage next to their forest and it's up to Soland to make the new land habitable.
The only person Kyndall Taylor trusts is Lady Anna, her elderly employer. But lately Anna's behavior has been strange — she has gifted all her land to a strange woman called Shayla and replaced her staff with a steady stream of odd people from deep in the forest. One such character is Soland. When Kyndall is assigned to care for Autumn while Soland works on the land, the two adults find common ground — and a growing mutual attraction. But Soland is very secretive, too…and the Sorceress seems to have plans of her own.
Blush: This is a sweet romance (kisses only, no sexual content).
