Abigail Wright is a lead singer for a band that has been around for 12 years. On the surface she has it made. She has a great career, great friends, and great hours. She and her band Avalon Nights hold a pre-release party for their new CD. After the concert the band is signing autographs and a man comes up and states that her father was a great man. He died in a moment of weakness. This gets Abigail wondering what really happened between her mom and dad right after she was born. Add another wrench in the works when she is giving an interview the next day and the reporter gives her a notebook of his research on her father. This notebook creates more questions than it solves, and this is only the beginning.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book and the cliffhanger ending leaves me wanting to come back for more. The author definitely has created a wonderful tale. I can't wait to see how it progresses in the upcoming installments of this new series.
Abigail Wright really has it made. As the lead singer for the internationally acclaimed band, Avalon Nights, she enjoys a career that most people would kill for. She has great friends and awesome hours. Life literally couldn’t get any better. Maybe that’s why fate just couldn’t leave her alone.
Two mysterious men enter the scene, each with information about her enigmatic father that disappeared before she was born. They speak of paranormal events, angels and demons and tremendous responsibility being dropped squarely on her shoulders.
As if dodging snarky reviewers and odd fans wasn’t bad enough, she has to come to terms with the fact that real monsters may exist.
The choice before her is whether to embrace that world for the good of humanity or turn her back on her heritage.
