Sweetest Seduction

There are not enough words to explain how much I enjoyed Sweetest Seduction. For some reason I was initially against reading this title- even though I chose to read it on my own. I liked the premise but thought it was going to be a typical playboy meets and falls in love with the “smart but homely girl” and in a way it is, but through charm and unexpected twists this story turns out to be a well-written quick read that captivates you from the first paragraph to the last word.

Valerie and Keith have a perfunctory client/accountant relationship that has worked well for the both of them for years, or so Valerie has deluded herself into believing. She is attracted to Keith but surmises that he would only be attracted to her for caddish reasons- even though he has not so subtly hinted throughout their relationship that he wants to at least try a relationship. She is not receptive to his advances and essentially ignores him unless it is work related. That is until Keith decides that he has had enough with her evasive tactics and plans an all out seduction so that he can prove to her that not only does want her sexually but wants a true and lasting relationship.

KB Alan has written a delightfully pleasant and engrossing novel that showcases two affable and well- drawn characters. While Valerie was occasionally annoying with her self-deriding comments, I found her to still be compelling without being obnoxiously insecure. You can at least sympathize with her and her struggles by the end of the story. Keith is the perfect love interest. He is compassionate, intelligent, well-rounded and sexy as hell. He is determined to get his girl and pulls out all the stops to convince her that they belong together. He is never heavy handed or coercive in his seduction but he makes it clear that he needs her. I loved who calm and collected he was with her when she finally started to open up to him. I love this book and will recommend it to anyone who wants to enjoy an excellent erotic romance.

Book Blurb for Sweetest Seduction

Val’s been Keith’s accountant for nearly a year. She dreams about his body pressed against hers, but there’s no need to let him in on that fact. The hunky photographer spends his days with beautiful models, there’s absolutely no way she can compete. Even if he has been throwing hints her way. She’s satisfied with her vibrator and her daydreams of her favorite client. Mostly.

Keith is done trying to sweet-talk his accountant into going out with him. It’s Valentine’s Day, and knowing Val, she doesn’t have any plans beyond putting in a full day’s work. No more asking nicely, he’s just going to plan the day his way and pull her along until she gets with the program. He’s sure a proper date will help Val realize he’s just the man she needs. And a proper date includes lots of touching. And exploring. And toys of a battery-operated nature.
