The Kiss

(The Widows Club #2)

As children, Georgiana Wilde and Quinn Forestque were inseparable, until an accident injures Georgiana and forces Quinn to leave. She mourns their lost friendship, and her unreturned love, hoping that time can heal her broken heart.

When Quinn returns to the family estate to settle a possible scandal, he is unprepared for his memories of the past and feelings he still has for Georgiana. He only wishes to settle the estate and move on. But finds that he cannot, that there is too much pulling at him their.

Each believing the other has given their heart to someone else, they try to be content with a life without the other, though they cannot deny the desire that burns between them. The only question is how will they handle their attraction, do they ignore it or feed into it and see where it takes them?

Sophia Nash weaves a wonderfully romantic story that successfully entertains and pulls at the readers emotions. I really like both Georgiana and Quinn, they are both independent and passionate people, who have suffered tragedy, and now deserve to find love and happiness.

I also enjoy the cast characters in the story, Ms. Nash pens them and their personalities so well that you cannot help but like them and become curious of their fates. Sometimes minor characters are an annoyance and take away from the storyline, but not so in this book, each character is well-rounded and adds depth, humor and tenderness to the tale.

Book Blurb for The Kiss

Returning to the estate on family business, Quinn would like nothing more than to turn the land over to Georgiana and leave the memories of his former life behind.
