Theron, descendent of Hercules, leader of the mythical Argonauts, has been sent on a mission, to bring back the one who will save the people of Argolea. Casey Simopolous has never really felt like she belonged anywhere. But when she sees the large, hansom Theron, she knows where she would like to belong. But things just are never that simple. Soon she finds herself in the middle of a war, as the daemons of the Underworld are crawling to the surface and she is thrust into a new world, forged from the Greek mythology she had read about. To save Theron's people Casey must forfeit her life, how can he let his soul mate be the sacrifice? But if she doesn't the world will be lost.
I love Greek mythology and loved Elisabeth Naughton's spin into the mythical realm of the Greek gods and the descendents of their heroes. She has created an amazingly detailed world filled with fascinating creatures and characters. I loved the tension, passion and emotion she drew between Theron and Casey. Nothing came easily for either of them. The choices that had to be made and the fast moving action kept the story moving, making it difficult to put down.
There are many questions left to be answered and many mysteries to be solved. I look forward to finding them out in the continuing books of the series. Like what will Hades make Isadora do to fulfill her promise? What is the story behind Nick and will he find his soul mate? And will a story between Zander and Callia develop?

THERON - Dark haired, duty bound and deceptively deadly. He's the leader of the Argonauts, an elite group of guardians that defends the immortal realm from threats of the Underworld.
From the moment he walked into the club, Casey knew this guy was different. Men like that just didn't exist in real life-silky shoulder-length hair, chest impossibly broad, and a predatory manner that just screamed dark and dangerous. He was looking for something. Her.
She was the one. She had the mark. Casey had to die so his kind could live, and it was Theron's duty to bring her in. But even as a 200-year-old descendent of Hercules, he wasn't strong enough to resist the pull in her fathomless eyes, to tear himself away from the heat of her body.
As war with the Underworld nears, someone will have to make the ultimate sacrifice.
