Pendragon Legacy: Book 3

Many humans know Jordan McArthur as the mythical Merlin, magician to King Arthur Pendragon. Little do they realize that the great king and his men were attempting to keep Earth safe from the Tribes. Now the Tribes have the Holy Grail and are planning to take over Earth. Jordan refuses to let that happen, he's waited, plotting his revenge against the Tribes, who destroyed his family when they decimated his home planet. Now he's commandeered a ship to protect Earth.

Vivianne Blackstone, CEO of Vesta Corporation, is hot, she can't believe her ship has been hijacked, with her on it! After all the lies, Jordan wants her to believe him, that he's not an alien spy, but is an ally, trying to keep Earth out of the Tribes hands. Things are running HOT between them, physically and emotionally, and they seem to have no control over their feelings.

Can Jordan and Vivianne find the Holy Grail? Can Vivianne trust Jordan to save Earth? Why can they not keep their hands off of each other?

Wow, did the passion run thick between Vi and Jordan, they could NOT keep their hands off of each other. I enjoyed the action-packed adventure of them traveling to find the stolen keys to Jordan's staff. Vi was a strong character and I really liked how she wouldn't let Jordan walk all over her, but she did cave to him quite easily. Both of them had survived great grief at the loss of their loved ones, but poor Jordan had been suffering the last 1500 years without ever being able to fully connect to another person. He had learned to turn off his feelings. It was a rude awakening for him to realize that he needed Vi to be content and happy for the rest of his life. I did have a little bit of difficultly believing in their passion, because I found a few of their love scenes to be a bit disconnected, like they weren't quite feeling absorbed into their feelings, it was almost mechanical. But that wasn't the case for all love scenes.

Jordan was a satisfying conclusion to the Pendragon Legacy series. I felt that it neatly wrapped up all the loose ends, though I would have liked a little peak into Lucan and Rion's lives. I look forward to reading more by Susan Kearney.
