Lead Me Home

Harlequin Blaze, #693 - Sons of Chance

This is another good book in the Last Chance Ranch series. The author does a great job of bringing the reader into the lives of the characters and making ranch life come alive. It’s not an easy life for any of the workers, but there are blessings. The heroines’ cooking isn’t a blessing lol. The hero is a hardworking man that readers will enjoy.

Matthew is a great horse trainer with special skills to deal with complicated horses. He comes to the Last Chance Ranch and meets Chef Aurelia Smith. There is strong attraction between them and they end up between the sheets. Aurelia is new to her job as the prior cook left to get married. The ranch hands nor the dogs are thrilled with her cooking. Can Aurelia convince Matthew to stay? Will she be asked to go with him?

I love reading about ranch's and the stories that come from them. This one was enjoyable. If you like western settings add this book to your list to pick-up.

Book Blurb for Lead Me Home

Thanks to his skills with difficult horses, trainer Matthew Tredway has traveled all over the world. And his new gig? The Last Chance Ranch. But after a chance glance at the ranch's hot little blond cook, Matthew's libido is immediately set to sizzle!

Chef Aurelia Smith has been trying to tempt the ranch hands with mouth-watering concoctions, with less-than-stellar results. But when Matthew is sent in to intervene, his attraction to Amelia boils over.

Before long, they're cooking up a storm, in and out of the bedroom. But Aurelia knows that while she might have led her horseman to bed, she can't make him stay….
