Kissing the Maid of Honor was sweet, heart warming, breathe taking and about forgiveness for past mistakes and making changes to move on. The story has just enough romance to make you realize it was there without writing about it. I guess that it was a little clean for me, but I still really liked it. I hope there will be another book to follow regarding Sela's brother Shane.
Sela is a nurse who is very detailed to caring for everyone, especially her family and friends. She cares so much for her patients and I could relate with her being upset over a patient of her's dying. She also is a very loyal friend to Vanessa who is getting married. She's Nesa's maid of honor even though Nesa's brother Luke is the best man. Luke has been Sela's crush from childhood and her brother Shane's best friend. She promises Nesa that she will be nice to Luke, no matter what happens, and her wedding will go off without problems even though she's still mortified by what Luke did growing up to her. Luke is an adventure photographer and is not afraid to take a chance at anything, that is except come back home and be sucked back into living a boring life instead of the adventurous one he leads. Will the wedding go off without any problems? Can Sela and Luke overcome their issues with each other? Will they realize that they we meant to be together?
Kissing her best friend's brother never felt so right…
Sela Sullivan is resolved to be the best maid of honor ever, even if it means tolerating the best man. Insufferable, too-handsome Luke Watters is not only the guy who humiliated her at a kissing booth in high school, but he also happens to be her best friend’s older brother. Positive he’s the same arrogant jock, Sela vows to focus on her duties and steer clear of the frustrating—and frustratingly tempting—Luke.
As a world-renowned extreme-sports photographer, Luke is used to undertaking life-risking adventures. But risking his heart for the beautiful Sela Sullivan, who clearly still hates him for his rejection all those years ago? He didn’t see that coming. Sela inspires a passion he’s never known, and the more time they spend together, the more he craves her. But can he prove to the maid of honor he’s become a man of honor?
