Goalie Interference

1 Night Stand Series

I have found that most of the romance books about sports are pretty good. I learn a little about the sport as well as get a book to read. I've read a few about hockey lately and it's such a brutal sport. I've discovered you have to be really tough; you never leave without some bruises. In this book I liked the idea that the team was a co-ed team. Girls can be just as equal as guys.

Goalie Interference by Emily Cale and Angela Stone was a good read that kept me wanting to see what was going to happen next. TJ was a female hockey player who basically lived and breathed hockey and didn't have time to date or look for someone to date. Her friend sets her up with Mademe Eve's 1 Night Stand dating service. She doesn't have any idea who the guy is or what to expect. She is to just show up in room 1018, so her fantasy can come true. Scott's fellow players set him up and tell him to show up at the hotel room to. He has no idea who he'll see there. He's tired of woman dating him for his fame and wealth. He wants someone to like him for who he is, not for the famous hockey player. When TJ sees it is Scott she can't let him know who she really is. So she tells him her name is Tarah. Neither knew that their night would end like it did. Did they fine true love or was it just a one night stand?

Goalie Interference was a fun and sporty addition to the 1 Night Stand series. Who knows who Madame Eve will hook-up next.

Book Blurb for Goalie Interference

Hockey goalie Tarah 'TJ' Elliot is too busy stopping pucks to go looking for love. When her friend Natalie sets her up through Madame Eve's 1 Night Stand service, she grudgingly agrees to go. Her ultimate fantasy comes true when Scott Alarid, one of the top scorers in the league, shows up at her hotel room. Hockey player TJ can't possibly spend a night with him, but Tarah certainly can.

Scott's tired of dealing with women who only like him for his all-star status. After his teammates arrange a date for him using the 1NS website, he's delighted to find a woman who doesn't know a thing about the sport. But, will the truth force them to put their relationship on ice?
