Paranormal Romance For a New Year
I think 2017 flew by faster than any previous year. Probably because I was busy constantly. First, getting my daughter ready to graduate, scholarship applications, financial aid, college applications, senior photos, etc., then she graduated and we were preparing for college and before I knew it she was six hours away at her college home. *sniff*
Lots of ups and downs, gains and losses, happiness and sadness in 2017- it seemed there was no middle ground. There were extremely happy highs and gut wrenching, heart breaking lows.
The one constant comfort was books. When I needed to escape the harsh reality of life or even just relax after an extremely hectic day a good book was always there to help me unwind or disappear into another world, if only for a little while. Just one reason why I love books so much.
In 2018 I hope to get back to a normal schedule and not be bouncing around so much, so I have more time to read or simply more energy to read ;-)
What books are you looking forward to in 2018?
