It's July. Yay! Summer is in full swing (for those of us in the Northern hemisphere) and the kids are on their school vacation.
My biggest challenge is keeping the kids entertained for the six weeks break. I've planned days out to the leisure parks, their staying a week with my sister-in-law and for the rest of the time I have to make sure they are well occupied and entertained at home.
One thing that usually suffers when the kids are at home is my quiet reading time. Finding time to sit down, put my feet up and read all but disappears. But I've got a neat trick up my sleeve to sneak in some time with my books. I'll read while feeding baby. :)
Talking about children, here are a few romance stories you'll love reading. Enjoy.
Marine Ever After by Heather Long
Marine Paul Torres is used to women who enjoy the pleasure of the moment and whom he can bed with a wink and a smile. But with so many of his friends settling down, he’s turned on by the allure of finding the right partner as well. Even more so when he meets Lillianna Hansen while attending a wedding.
After a passionate night, Paul wakes to find her gone and though he wants more than a one-night stand with the alluring Lily, his limited leave is up and he’s forced to return to active duty.
All Lillianna thought she wanted was a good time. But Paul’s attention—even from thousands of miles away—is hard to resist, and while she tells herself repeatedly she doesn’t want a relationship with a Marine, she can’t deny the consequences of their passionate night.
When she finds out she’s pregnant, she’s forced to reach out to Paul. But is she ready to let the father of her child be her Marine Ever After….
There was nothing like a funeral to get a romance started. Well a funeral, an artificially inseminated pregnancy, a gay husband, his gold digging lover, paparazzi and millions of dollars. Tais Nørgaard knows firsthand what it’s like to be at the edge of death. After chemo therapy for a cancer that has gone into remission pretty much demolishes any chance that he has of reproducing, he finds himself thoroughly intrigued by the lovely Delilah Bancroft.
Much like the legendary woman of her namesake, she has the power to bring him to his knees...even if she's the beard of an entitled prick who won't open his eyes long enough to see that he's being used. Now how exactly does he go about convincing her that she'd be much happier in his warm bed with a ring on her finger and her unborn child potentially calling him Daddy? Tais has come back from worse. He's damn sure he can figure this out.
The Billionaire's Baby by Dahlia Rose
Adira Potts saved every last penny from her retail job in London for one purpose only: to take her dream trip to New York City come true. The city stunned her, and she loved everything she saw. But in her unusual tendency of getting lost, she found herself unable to find her hotel. She firmed her shoulders and asked the first person she met for directions. Who knew it would be Favian Rivera, a devilishly handsome retired Marine and businessman? From their first meeting, there was a spark between them.
Although Adira was accustomed to the role of the mousy wallflower, when Favian asked her out to dinner she gave into impulse and said yes. Over dinner his voice and the sexy things he said to her in Spanish made her breathless and led to a night of passion that left her reeling. The morning after was filled with regrets after lies were whispered in her ear, and she fled not only his home but the trip she had so carefully saved for.
Her one night of bliss led to another consequence: Adira was pregnant and had resigned herself to raising the baby alone. But when Favian ended up on her doorstep to whisk her back to New York, she was amazed and secretly thrilled. A happily ever after might be hard to find especially when roadblocks were to be found with every step they took. Adira began to wonder if trying to make it work with the man she loved was worth it or should she just take her child and travel back across the pond with a broken heart?

Most importantly, she’s sexy and very available. She makes Eli discover everything he wanted to have and was missing in his life: excitement and passion.
