Current Release: Sid (The Protectors Series) Book #4

What's your book about?

Renowned for his playboy lifestyle and wisecrack remarks, Sid Sinclair knows he is the last pick for the lead investigator of human/half-breed trafficking. Never one to play by the rules, Sid takes his new position seriously, but not without driving the leader of the VC Council and fellow Warrior’s crazy.

A human with a special gift, Lana Fitzpatrick’s life is complicated. When Sid Sinclair charges into her life, her complicated life becomes torturous; his charm and wit draws her in like no other. Having dealt with alpha men most of her life, she is a match made in heaven for the VC Warrior who thinks he is God’s gift to women.

As the world of vampires and humans try to coexist, Sid and Lana’s lives intertwine. It doesn’t take long before the sparks between the two fly and for them to realize they have both finally met their match.

What should readers expect from you titles?

I love to add a lot of humor in all my books along with action and romance.

Also the books really should be read in order to get the full effect of who each Warrior is.

What's your writing process like?

Sitting down to computer.
Staring at the screen.
Having a few minutes of total freak out.
Start typing.
Delete.
Start typing again.

A few curses.
Get up get something to drink while freaking out and cursing.
Start typing again.

Wait for her response.
Start typing again.
Go to bed.
Get up and start the process again.
HA! True story!! ^^^

Which authors do you follow religiously?

Wow, well let's just say I have a very long list. I was a reader before I was a author so I stalk.... oh, excuse me...I follow a lot of authors religiously. I love PNR, but I read anything and everything as long as the story holds me attention.

What books have you analyzed to help grow yourself as an author?

I really cannot say there has been any books. But I listen and any advice I get from fellow authors I follow through with. So yeah, I have a very open mind because I am still learning and have a lot to learn.

What's next for you as an author?

I am getting ready to release Adam (The Protectors Series) Book 5 followed by Slade (The Protectors Series) Book 6 Can't wait!!!

What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

Find a great book and read, but man once I start a book I can't stop so I really try not to do that until my current book I'm writing is finished.

Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?

So many people that I wouldn't even want to begin to start naming because knowing me I'd leave someone off and that just won't do. I will say my family for just being there for me, close friends who read before anyone sees anything, my PA, my street team, all the bloggers and readers! I adore and thank every single one of them. You guys ROCK!

Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?

Anytime I meet a reader is my favorite. I honestly think that is the best part for me out of everything that has happened since I've started writing. Meeting people as invested in the series as I am is a experience that to me is priceless.

If you could have dinner with an author, who would it be?

Stephen King because well he's Stephen King! HA! If he wasn't available Sherrilyn Kenyon because Acheron is my all time favorite sexy alpha hottie....damn...I meant book. My all time favorite book!!!

If you could travel to another time, would you choose past or future or would you stick where you are at? And Why?

Knights are pretty hot and I'm big on the show The Vikings. I think if I could come back to present time I'd like to spend a week or two in a medieval castle surrounded by alpha knights or vikings or...well, you get the point. :)

What's a writing day like for you?

Depends. If the voices in my head are awesome I'm on my computer with a smile all day long. If they are not talking and being stubborn I'm moping around forcing myself to sit at the computer. Usually I'm writing with a smile thank goodness.

Do you feel music has inspired your writing?

I have music on when I write, but in all honesty once I get into writing mode and I'm in their world I'm lost to what is going on around me. I've called my husband by the wrong name several times. He's been Damon and Jared, thank God he loves me and understands and we are still together.

What's your everyday life like? Do you write full-time or do you also hold another job?

I have been writing full time for a little less than a year. I quit my full-time job with the support of my husband. It was really scary and still is at times, but I absolutely love it because not only do I have more writing time, but I have more time to talk to readers which I love.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

Depends on my mood honestly. I love being out, but sometimes depending on where I am you will usually find me in the back of the room observing until someone talks to me. I am definitely a people watcher. Yeah, I'm shy and stop laughing. The one's who talk to me on Facebook and such are rolling their eyes about now, but it's true. I am shy!

Wrapping Up:

I just want to thank all of the readers, bloggers and my street team for sticking by me. This year has been a hard one with a lot of family illness and loved ones lost. Adam is almost here and Slade is on his way!!!!!! Without you guys I wouldn't be doing what I love so thank you!!!
