Please tell us your latest news!

I'm delighted to announce that the next "Boys" book, The Boys Next Door, has just released from Samhain! For all the readers who loved The Boys Back Home and made it an All Romance eBooks bestseller, thank you so much for your patience. I hope you'll love Tommy and Judah Ambinder as much as you did Kyle Watson and Alan Caine

It's been a busy year for me, what with moving to Ohio and rebuilding my life. It's been wonderful to finally get back in the saddle writing-wise, and I've got a lot of new projects in the works. 2011 is going to be a really, REALLY good year, I think!

Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?

Oh, gosh! I love Angela Knight for her economical language and mouthwatering sex scenes :-) Joey Hill's writing has an emotional lushness that just knocks me for a loop -- plus she's just the most amazing person to hang around and talk with. She's really delightful! I discovered Gena Showalter when she wrote The Stone Prince, and I can't *wait* to read her Lords of the Underworld series. Nalini Singh is another huge favorite -- her Psy/Changeling series is to DIE for!

Do you have a specific writing style?

I don't know -- I don't really think about it much. I must have, because my readers seem to like it, even when I switch genres on them! I can't help it; I like cowboys, and vampires, AND sexy-shapeshifting dragons!

Do you see writing as a career?

Oh, most definitely. It's been my primary career for the past three years, and I'm really looking forward to what the next few years will bring!

Do you recall how your interest in writing originated?

Oh, gosh. I've always written, it seems like -- the first story I distinctly remember was written in second grade. Other than an urge to go into acting for a while, writing has always been the central passion of my life.

How does your family feel about having a writer in the family? Do they read your books?

Considering I write a lot of erotic romance, I'm kind of glad they don't! It's funny -- my son is probably my most diehard fan, and is always telling his female friends to check out my website, but he himself won't read the spicy stuff (whew!) He's read just about everything else I've written, though. :-)

What is your writing process? Do you outline, fly by the seat of your pants or a combination of both?

Well, I've done a bit of both but usually I find the story unfolding as I write, with later scenes springing to mind as I work through the first bit. So often I'll write the first quarter or third of a story, by which time I generally have a pretty good idea how the rest of it plays out. At that point I'll stop and just quickly jot down all the things that are coming up, small plot points that play out later and details I might otherwise forget. I write notes to myself all the time. Does that count as outlining?

Do you have a favorite object that is pertinent to your writing? If so what is it and please describe it.

Tea. Lots and lots and lots of tea! Lipton's, Earl Grey, whatever I can get my hands on as long as it has caffiene. LOL!

What main genre do you write in?

Romance, Erotica / Spicy Romance
