Could you please start by telling us a little about yourself?
Raine Delight is a non de plume of a self professed bookholic. She lives in Western New York with her two small kids, her boytoy and works part time as a chef and baker at a coffee cafe (think starbucks atmosphere) in her small town. She is a self professed Johnny Depp fan (loves him) and is part of her inspiration for her heros though her honey is the other. Reading since she could pick up a book, Raine likes to dream of happily ever after where the herione keeps the hero on the edge of his toes and keeps being strong.
Sticky Magic is part of the Devon Falls stories, each is a stand alone book. A multipublished author, she is published right now with Aspen Mountain Press and Eternal Prss. You can check her web site, My Space, blog and newsletter for more information on upcoming relelases and where she will be chatting.
In her spare time, she loves to spend time with her kids and honey, hike at Letchworth State Park and lose herself in the stories of her favorite authors as well as listen to Andrea Bocelli and watch countless world is ending movies.

If you could be one of your characters - Who would you be? And why?
I think I would love to be Raven. She is strong, feisty and determined plus she is taller than me. :)
What's your favorite genre to read?
Depends on my mood; Lately it has been sci fi/futuristic stories but I also love paranormals (Fae especially), contemporary and other genres.
Who or what influences you when you write?
My friends and family help keep me motivated to do the best I can. They celebrate with me when I have great news and they sympathize with me when I ham sad. My author friends' help a great deal as I bounce ideas from them and get motivated by them to do my best.
Can you please give us a sneak peek at any of your upcoming books?
Sure, Red Hot Magic is Raven's story and Aspen Mountain Press has picked this one up. I am not sure on release date yet. I expanded and revised it so it is longer and more in depth. You get a sneak look at the end of Sticky Magic from Babes in Toyland II (out now) on what is plaguing Raven.
Unedited Sneak peek: Raven walked wearily into her apartment and threw the mail on the table. Blowing the hair from her face, she undid the braid she had clasped upon the top of her head and sighed in relief as it loosened the knots in her neck and back. As she kicked off her shoes, Raven again thought of her dream man and all the delightful things he did to her body during the dream. As always she got wet with desire, her body instantly became aroused.
With a deep breath leaving her body as she walked over to the stereo and picked up the new Andrea Boucelli CD she loved so much. His beautiful tenor voice filled the apartment; she hummed along as she reheated some Chinese food in the microwave and swayed with the music. Feeling the tension release her body from the day, she sat on the couch and ate dinner as the music swelled around her.
Her thoughts went back to her dream man. I know this man deep in my heart yet I have never met him before in my life. Is he the one I've been searching for? Those piercing blue eyes, just like before a storm hits, the way his body feels against mine and those hands. My god, he could be a lethal weapon! Who is this man who captures my dreams and makes my heart melt with a love I can't explain?
Sighing, Raven put her plate on the coffee table and lay on the couch staring at the ceiling. I crave him with a passion that I cannot tell my best friend about since she will probably think I am nuts! With the music playing softly around her, Raven drifted off to sleep still musing about her dream man.
Raven felt the soft breeze swirl, and the silk sheets slither around her body like a lovers hands. She opened her eyes. Looking around, she knew she wasn't in her apartment at the same time she comprehended this was a dream; she also knew something was going to happen tonight and it would change her life forever.
"You're awake I see. I was hoping you would soon, since we have so many other delicious things to do yet, my love." The deep voice whispered across the room. Raven shivered as she felt the desire race thru her body faster than she imagined.
"Who are you? What do you want of me?" She asked. Turning left then right, she tried to figure out where the voice came from.
As the breeze swirled around the room, it caressed her naked body, making her nipples tightening and wetness pool in her core. Trying not to let her mystery man know how he affected her, Raven tried to still her aching body with deep breaths. That is until she spied the tall man walking towards her from the shadows. With hair dark as midnight, a body that had her almost weeping in pleasure, stormy blue eyes locked onto her green ones. He was easily over 6 foot 5" and he was utterly, deliciously naked.with a cock that begged to be suckled and licked. It was absolutely the largest one Raven had ever seen. She knew instinctively this man would give her the ultimate pleasure.
Who is your perfect hero? And why?
My perfect hero huh? Is there such a thing? *smiles* I prefer the imperfect heroes to the ones who are so perfect they make your teeth ache. The ones who are not afraid to show their vulnerabilities, their strengths and weaknesses; The ones who make your heart melt while you try to not to smack them silly. *laughs*
What do you do for inspiration?
I read my favorite authors, surf the web, play halo and take walks with my honey and kids.
Is there a genre of book you would like to write but haven't yet?
I would love to do a sci fi/futuristic and I have a germ of an idea of one but not settled in my head to write it yet.
What type of book have you always wanted to write?
Hmmm, I think I am happy with what I am writing right now. I would like to try my hand at M/M someday and I delve a little into it with my one fae book but can't wait to see if something comes to me in a true M/M format. :)
What kind of research do you do for your books? Do you enjoy the research process?
It is all in my imagination. *Grins* though I can say when I am stuck on the more sexy scenes, my honey always volunteers to be my "helper".
Do deadlines help or hinder your muse?
Defiantly hinder since I write by the seat of my pants and when the muse decides I am worthy to hear what he is saying. *laughs*
What would you like to tell your readers?
I love hearing from readers and what they have to say on my work. It helps me get a handle on what worked and what didn't after they read one of my books.
Do you outline your books or just start writing?
I just start writing, especially if my muse decides sleep is so not going to happen. *smiles*
What would be the best way for readers contact you? Do you have a website? Email address? MySpace site? Blog? Message Board? Group?
They can go to my website, newsletter, blog, my space page mentioned in the beginning and they can always email me at firstname.lastname@example.org if they want to chat on my books. I am also at Aspen Mountain press's community loop every now and again as well. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/AMP_Community
How can readers find out more about you and your books?
I put up to date information on my website and My Space page.
Thank you for this opportunity!
