Current Release: Crimson Hit

Describe your current release in two sentences?

Dev Shannon is a bounty hunter who hooks 'em up and hauls 'em in, but this time it's personal. From Santa Barbara to Spain, Dev will get his man.

Please describe your writing environment.

As my wife and I both write, we have separate offices in our Montana home, and she works in the master bedroom in our Ventura home, overlooking the keys and the occasional seal or pelican, while I have a separate garret office there. In both homes we have a third office for copy machines, etc.

What are you working on?

Currently bringing past titles up to speed to put on eBook, as well as writing another thriller and another western.

What do you feel blessed with?

Living in Montana in the summer and fall and California in the winter, being healthy, having a beautiful, talented wife, and being born in this (still great) country.

What was your childhood ambition?

Architecture. I went to school at Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, in Architecture until I was lured away with a high paying job, then ended up a contractor, appraiser, and real estate broker...until I started writing.

What is your favorite TV show?

CBS Sunday morning so long as they stay apolitical. Bluebloods is right up there. Anthony Bordain ranks high.

What career fields have you worked in?

To many to mention, but mostly real estate. I sold farms and ranches and recreational land all over the west.

What are your plans for the summer? Any books you are looking forward to?

I'm an eclectic reader, fiction, non-fiction. Nothing in particular.

How was your road to publication?

Long and rocky. My second book got published, six weeks after my wife's first book did. That was about 55 books ago for her and 32 for me.

If you could time travel, where would you travel to and why?

I'd touch every century since the dinosaurs. What an education!

If you could live in a world created by an author, which book / world would you jump into?

Something far into the future, as we have a fairly good idea what's happened in the past.

My next book to be published is QUIET OPS, co-written with America's No. 1 bounty hunter, Bob Burton, who's currently in West Palm Beach, Florida, training bounty hunters, bodyguards, and maritime employees to repel pirates.
