Current Release: Solace in Scandal

Describe your current release in two sentences?

When Elena Bardot suffers the backlash of a Ponzi scheme orchestrated by her father, she retreats to the abandoned estate of his partners in crime. Wolfe Manor is lush and private, a perfect place to lick her wounds – until the notorious prodigal son, Alex, returns.

What are you working on?

I'm currently working on the third book in my Triple X series about sisters who've been separated since a young age reuniting. Lexie and Maxie have already had their stories told. Now it's Roxie's turn. My readers have told me they're anxious for this one, so I'm working on it as fast as I can.

Is there an author or book that has greatly influenced your writing?

I loved Linda Howard's early books like Mackenzie's Mountain, Diamond Bay, and Midnight Rainbow. I have dog-eared copies of those and know all the story lines by heart. Shoot. Now I want to go read one.

As a reader: Do you gravitate toward buying eBook or Print?

I still like to curl up with a print book. Unfortunately, I have very little time for reading these days. It kills me. It really does.

Who is your coolest character?

Out of all my stories, Scythe from BLADE OF MOONLIGHT has to be the coolest, most bad-ass character I've ever written. He's a supervillain whose name is also his weapon of choice. He's domineering, unrepentant and sexy, but he has one weakness -- superheroine Luminescence.

Fall is finally here. After the rush of summer, this is when I really enjoy slowing down and reading a good book. Happy reading to all the others out there who like huddling under a blanket and immersing themselves in a good romance.
