Current Release: Once Upon a Tiger
Describe your current release in two sentences?
Alexis and Victor have been secretly in love with each other for years but are forbidden by tiger shifter law from being together. When trouble comes at Alexis, however, Victor rushes to her aid and their passion gets the best of them.
What are you working on?
Right now, I'm working on the second Tiger Shifter book (due out late March/early April 2014) which takes place a few years after Once Upon a Tiger. While I have a new hero and heroine in this second book, Victor and Alexis make an appearance.
Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?
I've had a huge amount of help from my friend and editor, Kem Shortland. She's helping me learn to format, she's a hard editor who doesn't let me get away with anything so the book comes out clean, and she's helped hook me up with my final line editor. I've also had a huge amount of help from my agent Louise Fury. She encouraged me to publish the Tiger Shifters, she helped with the title of Once Upon a Tiger, and she's even helped me develop the blurb for the book. I couldn't have done this without Kem and Louise. My cover artist was superb and wonderful to work with too. Beyond them, there's been a LOT of help from my other writer friends and my family. I can't thank any of them enough for the support.
Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?
Not yet *g* But I am hoping to have one to report sometime in the future.
What is your favorite way to procrastinate?
Unfortunately, it's eating. LOL. When I'm supposed to be working--or more likely when I can't work because I'm busy looking after my two boys--but I have work to do, I tend to fill the time with food. Even more dangerous is when I get it into my head to bake! I make a mean chocolate chip cookie.
Thanks so much for having me here! And thanks to all the readers who are taking a chance on the Tiger Shifters series. I so appreciate your support! I hope you'll enjoy Once Upon a Tiger and continue to enjoy the series going forward. I'll have more about book #2 on my website soon!
