I've just finished reviewing Hunting the Demon and I must say it was supper and stood well on it's own. Can you tell us how you came up with the concept for the series?

Thank you! I'm so glad you enjoyed Hunting the Demon.

I originally came up for the idea of Surviving Demon Island, the first book, when I was watching an HBO special on the making of Mr. and Mrs. Smith, the movie starring Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt. I was taken with the fact that Angelina Jolie did a lot of her own hard-hitting stunts in the movie. Here was this beautiful woman who took on some amazing stunt work, including handling some pretty incredible shooting scenes. So I came up with the idea of tough heroines, equally strong heroes, and added some unique paranormal twists including demons, and the Demon Hunter series was born.

Can you please tell our readers a little about each of the books?

Surviving Demon Island, the first book in the series, starts it all. Six new members are recruited into the REalm of Light, an organization charged with fighting the Sons of Darkness, Lords of the underworld and the right hands of the great evil one. These six recruits are given a crash course in demon hunting when they're taken to an island and fight demons alongside experienced hunters. This is where my sexy actress, Gina Bliss, meets demon hunter extraordinnaire, Derek Marks. Sparks fly, demons attack--lots of fun and action and tons of romance.

Hunting the Demon picks up right where the first book left off, this time with Derek's brother, Nic, and another demon hunter, Shay. Nic doesn't know anything about his past, doesn't remember having a brother, and is thrust into this world of demons and hunters, not knowing how to trust. It's up to Shay to guide him through it all. And Shay has a few secrets of her own and some special abilities. These two are hot together and I had a blast writing them.

Do you plan on doing more in the series?

Yes! There are so many demon hunters and they're all clamoring for their stories to be told. Right now I'm contracted for four books, and I'm currently working on book 3 in the series.

Are you working on any other manuscripts and can you give us a sneak peak?

I also write for Berkley Heat and do contemporary erotic romance for them. Wild, Wicked & Wanton is available to purchase, and I have an anthology with Eden Bradley and Lisa Renee Jones titled Exclusive that'll be released September 4, 2007.
