Current Release: Fate Forgotten - Fate of the Gods, #2
Describe your current release in two sentences?
FATE Forgotten picks up where FORGED BY FATE left off, following Adam, Eve, and Thor from the past into the future. Adam will risk the world to secure Eve's affections, but to do so, he must find a way to eliminate Thor from her future lives, not to mention become a man worthy of Eve's love.
What are you working on?
We're working on edits for Book Three in the Fate of the Gods trilogy, BEYOND FATE, which will be the final installment in the series, and I've got a more traditional fantasy up my sleeve which I'm hoping to release in the spring, involving an Orc and a Princess!
Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?
World Weaver Press has really made Fate of the Gods possible, and their unflagging enthusiasm for the series has been wonderful. But I couldn't have even gotten to the point of submission without my friends (writer and non-writer alike) and family, particularly El Husband. I can't say enough about his support and what it's meant for me.
Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?
I had a book signing over the summer where, despite the publicity done by the venue, everyone who showed up had no idea I was going to be there (it was a joint signing with another regional author, and he drew a fantastic crowd.) Several of them apologized because they weren't there to see me -- but they still bought my book! It ended up being a really nice event, all the same, but I have to admit I wasn't expecting to be addressing a room full of elderly air force vets and their families!
What is your favorite way to procrastinate?
I love to read, and that's usually procrastination station one, followed closely by time spent on Twitter and Tumblr! Of course if I have work to do that is NOT writing, then writing becomes my number one priority :)
Keep an eye out for the next installment in the Fate of the Gods series, TAMING FATE, part of World Weaver Press's A WINTER'S ENCHANTMENT anthology, which tells the story of Eve in 15th century France, where marrying into the House of Lions doesn't go quite as smoothly as either Eve or her husband, the Marquise DeLeon, expects! Thanks so much for having me at Night Owl Reviews, and I hope you'll follow me back to my blog or twitter (@AmaliaTd) -- Come for Thor, and stay for more!
