Current Release: More Than a Touch
Describe your current release in two sentences?
Leif Brevik and Zoe Phillips are both struggling to deal with the wounds they brought home from the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. Together they discover renewed hope in the healing power of love.
What are you working on?
I'm working on A REASON TO LOVE, the next book in my Snowberry Creek series. It will be released in May 2014.
Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?
My agent and my editor always play roles in the process. For this particular book, a friend who is a physical therapist was a great help. And my friend Janice Kay Johnson helps me brainstorm ideas and ways to get unstuck if I run into problems telling the story.
Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?
A woman I'd met on a committee we were both on didn't normally read romances. However, because she'd met me, she checked a couple of mine out of the library. This was just days before 9/11. She told me later that reading my stories helped her get through that awful time. It was a wonderful reminder that books can touch people's hearts in such amazing ways.
What is your favorite way to procrastinate?
I enjoy looking for new music on YouTube and playing endless games of solitaire.
I want to thank everyone here at Night Owl Reviews for all their great support of all authors, but especially for the support they've shown me. I also want to say how much I appreciate everyone taking the time to stop by today. It means a lot to me. My next book in the Snowberry Creek series is A REASON TO LOVE, which will be released in May 2014.
