What have you had to give up to pursue your writing career?

I've given up sleep mostly. I have 7 children the youngest of which is 6 years old. So I write at night after she's gone to be. I work during the day.

What are you working on?

Book Four of my Hypnotic Journey Series. My adventurers have gone deep underground into the Netherworld to rescue two small children kidnapped by renegade trolls. They will face unknown dangers as well as struggle with temptations that none of them could have ever expected.

What is your ultimate writing goal?

My first goal was to be published so I could share my stories with the world. Second goal would be to make enough money to be able to write full time. Third, to be financially independent would really be a fun bonus!

Do you have a comfort food? What is it?

Comfort food eh? Hmmm, cheesecake, Doritoes, Milkyway candy bars and of course a really good Filet, medium rare.

Where is your favorite place to write?

I have a writing desk for when I am in a serious writing mood. Otherwise my husbands favorite leather recliner . . . shhhh don't tell him!

What career fields have you worked in?

I worked in the corporate travel industry most of my life. Took time off to raise my children and now work for a very large companies website customer service division.

What are your plans for the next year? Any books you are looking forward to?

I have a rough draft of the sequel to Tempest Rise that I want to work on once A Sequence of Darkness, Book IV of Hypnotic Journey is finished. I also have another series that I have in mind to start in 2012 plus more to come with Hypnotic Journey.

How was your road to publication?

I've been writing all my life. I never really considered publication until I moved to Utah and met a wonderful writer who pointed me in the right direction. I have been working hard to cultivate my book sales on Amazon, iTunes Bookstore, Google Books and Barnes and I have really had a lot of fun with the experience whether the books are a hit or not, it's an experience I will cherish forever.

If you could time travel, where would you travel to and why?

Time travel, well I'd love to see the future, a couple hundred years from now, possibly more. But I'd also like to visit Ancient Rome and Greece.

If you could live in a world created by an author, which book / world would you jump into?

My Hypnotic Journey, love and friendship conquers all but it's not easy. Friends are true to each other, magic is mysterious and rare. Monsters are real but kept far underground although they occasionally escape. The elves are tall, blonde, muscular and sexy.

I am very grateful to those who have read my books and would love to hear from them. The adventure has just begun, I hope my books can bring a little joy, excitement and laughter to peoples hearts.
