Current Release: Deadly Secrets

What's your book about?

Deadly Secrets is about surviving an unseen evil and finding love against almost insurmountable odds. It’s about the strength, courage and determination of one woman to save her life, and about one extraordinary man’s resolve to see her win.

Born and bred on the land, Jordan Windcroft is as tough and beautiful as the country she lives on. And just as untamed. Her life revolves around running her property almost single-handedly on next to no money, and she’s determined to succeed.

When a close friend is threatened by a dangerous enemy, she is forced to cover up the truth of a tragic accident, finding herself on four years of probation. The last thing she needs is for Reid Easton to walk into town.

While her future hangs in the balance, on the mountain surrounding her home a predator lies in wait. And when he makes his presence known, Jordan will find herself in a desperate struggle for survival.

What should readers expect from you titles?

Hot romances, alpha males and extraordinary settings, with a dash of humour thrown in. If it’s a Suspense, add to that plenty of intense, nail biting moments.

What's your writing process like?

Chaotic. I don’t have a routine process I follow. I’ll plot one book from start to finish, yet write another pantster-style. I have a file of scenes I write as I think of them (with no idea which story they’re going to fit into), and I’ll generally be working on several manuscripts at once. But writing like that suits me. It means I can always write what I’m in the mood to write, or jump to some editing if I’m not feeling creative, or even start something new if I come up with an idea on the spur of the moment.

Which authors do you follow religiously?

Nora Roberts, Tess Gerritsen, James Patterson.

What's next for you as an author?

Another Suspense novel is almost finished, as well as a Paranormal Suspense.

What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

That’s easy – Read a book!

What's your everyday life like? Do you write full-time or do you also hold another job?

My everyday is being a mum, running a farm and working as an editor and article writer for Vink Publishing. My passion is squeezing enough hours into the day to write novels.
