Current Release: Trouble Comes Knocking

Describe your current release by starting out with "In a world".

In a world where people say "y'all" and "ain't" with total sincerity, there lives a young woman whose eidetic memory and inability to let things lie keeps murders and evil deed dooers on their toes. Her name is Lucy Carver and though she may look like a wisp of a girl, she's more like Sherlock in ballet flats. Bad guys...beware.

What are you working on?

Unspoken Trouble, the sequel to Trouble Comes Knocking. Lucy has pushed away from all the things not working in her life, boys included, and decided to do the one thing that might give her a chance with her future: go back to college. Unfortunately, trouble finds Lucy even when she's hiding from it and soon she's juggling mid-terms and murders.

Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?

I'd like to thank my people! Actually, my mom and dad are a big push for me, they're always there to help. My editor, Karen Grove has been Amazing. Her assistant Nicole S., equally amazing. My Lit critique group: Misa, Tracy, Jessica, Marty, Kym, Kim, Beatriz, Rebecca, Jill. Basically they all rock.

Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?

Oh! Yes!!! Actually, I used to work as an assistant bank manager and I was sent to a week long learning thingie...while I was there, one of the other assistants came up to me and said, "You're Mary Malcolm, aren't you?" That's the name I write romance under... Turns out, she read one of my romance novels and it was her favorite novel. *lol* How cool is that?

What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

Procrastinate? No way, I'm a total worker bee, 100 percent of the time. (looks around for lightening)

More than anything I just want to thank everyone who has given Trouble Comes Knocking a chance so far! It's been a fun ride and I really hope to keep the series going as long as possible!
