Current Release: Darkside Sun

Describe your current release by starting out with "In a world".

In a world where the Sixth Sense meets the Matrix, Addison Beckett discovers why reality is literally unraveling around her. When she meets the gorgeous Asher Green, finally having company on the wrong side of the crazy door is bittersweet. It turns her touch could kill him, and doesn't that just suck.

What are you working on?

I just finished the first draft of Midnight Dawn, which is the second of the Mortal Machine trilogy, following Darkside Sun. I'm also finishing up the third in my Ironhill Jinn series, which is an adult PNR.

Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?

My writing group, the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pens. They cheer me on, listen to me vent, give me advice, beta read my work. I really couldn't do this without them. Also my editors, because I'm a punctuation idiot, and my family for forgiving this chronic daydreamer for living in my mind half the time.

Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?

Most of my readers contact me by email, and I've quite a few interesting ones. The most memorable was a woman on her sick bed thanking me for writing my novels, which had made her miserable days tolerable. Best. Moment. Ever.

What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

Oh gosh, I'm a little embarrassed to admit it, but I love making bracelets with my daughter's rainbow loom kit. Who knew elastics could be so much fun?

Readers rock! Thanks to all who have made my day by picking up one of my books and disappearing into it for a while. Next up for release will be Midnight Dawn (Mortal Machine #2) in September and Soul Stone (Ironhill Jinn #3), date TBD. Happy Reading.
