Current Release: You're Mine, Maggie
Describe your current release by starting out with "In a world".
In a world where beauty consultant, Maggie Mae Castro, worries she’s either losing her mind or she’s falling in love, things go missing. Things like her lipstick, a pair of earrings, and her grandma’s pill case. And all she wants is an aspirin and the ability to fire Shasta, the most useless beauty consultant to ever breathe air. When Shasta winds up dead, crushed by steel shelves full of Shy Kitty cosmetics, Maggie doesn’t believe it’s an accident. Things get even stranger when anonymous gifts arrive, each with the same message: “You’re mine, Maggie.” FBI Special Agent Clive Poole doesn’t like strange men sending his girlfriend flowers and presents. He especially doesn’t like the possibility that the creep might also be responsible for Shasta’s death. He’s sticking to Maggie day and night. Maggie is his and only his. Maggie isn’t thrilled about this, especially since their last full-frontal encounter ended with her dropping her reservations and her panties. But Clive will stop at nothing to keep Maggie safe from a madman who would do anything to have her. Anything.
What are you working on?
I'm currently working on a romantic suspense novel that will be the second in my Pleasure at Home series. It's Lucy and Cal's story and I'm having so much fun writing it.
Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?
Lately I've relied on my mom and sister to help me with final edits. I send them the manuscript and tell them to find all the errors. After 23 gazillion editing passes I can't see the words anymore. I've also been fortunate to have several published authors who've taken me under their wing- Debra Mullins, Shannon Donnelly, Susan Squires, Jacqueline Diamond & Vicky Dreiling. Thank you ladies!
Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?
I've received some really lovely reader emails and always enjoy hearing from people who've read my books.
What is your favorite way to procrastinate?
Social media provides way too many opportunities to procrastinate. Facebook & Twitter especially.
The first Misadventure of Maggie Mae, Wake Up Maggie, is available now. You're Mine, Maggie releases today and Find Me Maggie releases on July 8th.
Many thanks to my readers,
