Current Release: Delightful

Describe your current release by starting out with "In a world".

In a world where so many things can leave a bad taste in your mouth, why not have dessert first? And could be a more delightful treat than caramel apple pie? Especially when it's served with a sexy bad boy intent on staying single, and single mother with marriage on her mind? DELIGHTFUL is book #3 in my Big Sky Pie contemporary romance series. The stories are all set in Kalispell, Montana, in Molly McCoy's pie shop, and pie recipes are part of the fun. What could be better than sexy guys and pies?

What are you working on?

I'm currently finishing DECADENT, Big Sky Pie #4.

Roxy Nash returns home to Kalispell, stinging from a recent divorce, looking for some romance, but definitely not looking to fall in love. She isn't prepared for the lure of widower, Wade Reynolds. The shy, gorgeous single father who is so wrong for her in every way. But oh so right. It's as decadent as chocolate meringue pie.

Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?

My first thank you has to go to my fabulous agent, Gail Fortune. Without her, there wouldn't even be a Big Sky Pie series.

I don't know what I would have done without my editor, Alex Logan. She has been wonderful all through the writing of this series.

Plot buddies, Jami Davenport and Karen Papandrew drop everything if I need help.

Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?

One of the funniest reader moments occurred while I was doing a book signing in a mall. My publisher had given my romantic suspense novel a cover better suiting a horror story. Two women passing glanced at the cover. One woman shuddered, and said to her companion, "And she looks like such a nice woman." I wanted to tell them to come back. I am a nice woman, and they'd probably have loved the book. Instead, I just laughed.

What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

I love watching movies from the 1930s and 1940s. The black and white ones. The dialogue, the romances, the mysteries are wonderful. So many of those stories have strong female leads. The kickass heroines of their day.

I love hearing from readers and meeting readers. I'm so thankful to readers. It's always touching to know that you've reached someone with a story, eased a hard time for them, given them a laugh, or a smile.
