Hi Erica. Thanks for coming over to NOR to chat and share your sexy new romance. Please fill us in on what "Desiring Lacey" is about.
Lacey Wilson is a lot of things. She’s beautiful. Sweet. A little sassy. And about to be divorced. Now, on the verge of turning thirty, she’s ready to find herself. What does she want? Desire? CRAVE? Her best friend convinces her to attend a private party, where masked men and women go to have a little anonymous fun, and she finds herself staring into the eyes of the doorman, Cameron Jennings. The two have a sexy little tryst, and Cameron sets out to convince her they have a shot at a real future together, regardless of how they met.
At what point did you know you wanted to publish a book?
In October of 2015 I was reading an Erotic Romance book, and I literally looked at my husband and said, "I think I can do this." I wrote my first book, Her Husband's Brother (book 1 in my Love and Justice Series) and sent it to a handful of publishers. Loose Id, LLC bit, and by March of 2016 I was a published author. It's been an absolute blast. =)
Is your home a place of order or chaos?
Naturally it's chaos, but I ATTEMPT to keep it in order. If it were up to me it'd be tidy with the crisp smell of coconut cotton from my Scentsy warmers...but alas, I have a husband and 6 and 2yr old daughters. I'm sure you can draw your own conclusions from there. LOL
What genres do you write in and what inspired you to write in these genres?
Erotic Romance. I love ER. And when I say I love it, I mean I LOVE IT. Those steamy relationships, the hot, super sexy moments we as readers get to witness when they finally give into their lust for each other? To me, it's the best of both worlds. We get the hot, sweaty sex with the super sweet love story as well. We get to see the entire relationship, and I think that's pretty special. I love being able to provide that for readers.
What is our favorite drink?
Nonalcoholic - Root beer. Alcoholic - Wine. Any and all wine, but preferably red.
What is your writing place like?
Usually in the kitchen or on the couch with my laptop. My dream is to one day have an office. haha Yep. I'm reaching for the stars, y'all!
What's next for you as an author?
In the immediate future I'm writing books 2 and 3 in the Fantasies Unmasked Series, which will tell Lacey's best friend and sister's stories. I also have a little something special I'm working on, Where You Go, but it's actually more on the contemporary side, so I'll probably use a different pen name. Keep in touch with me for more info!
It's been a pleasure having you on Night Owl Reviews!
Thank you so much NOR for having me, and a special thanks to all the amazing readers who took the time to read this! Y'all are rock stars! (Heart)
