Hi Soliel De Bella! Thanks for coming and chatting with the Night Owl Readers. Please tell us about your latest book, "Claiming Holly".
A seductive and tantalizing tale of sex, BDSM and wanting more of always wanting more. More is a good thing if you can keep it, if it can be yours and if there isn't a jealous wife to contend with.
What should readers expect from you titles?
Sizzling and intense stories with a delicious twist, most of mine are Paranormal fantasies.
What's your writing process like?
I don't have time to have a process. I guess if anything I start with a rough draft, names for characters, timeline and get started. I don't over analyze, that's what the editing process is for.
Which authors do you follow religiously?
I really don't. I'm too busy reading new ones.
What books have you analyzed to help grow yourself as an author?
I don't stick to any one author or genre', whatever interests me and I move on. I analyze everything I read, I think the more variety the more you learn.
What's next for you as an author?
I am actually switching genre's I have a sci-fi thriller I am working on along with a serial killer thriller. Very excited to see where these go.
What is your favorite way to procrastinate?
Sexy time with my husband is the top favorite.
Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?
Special thanks to Terry and Bobette Wright who believe in my stories and work hard to make it all come together beautifully.
Do you have a favorite or interesting reader meet moment?
Not yet, but working on that.
If you could have dinner with an author, who would it be?
If you could travel to another time, would you choose past or future or would you stick where you are at? And Why?
I would travel to the future, I already know the past and I am already experiencing the present. I want more!.
What's a writing day like for you?
Sporadic, I write when I can, no planning. Sit, concentrate and try again when life let's me. Seems like I would never accomplish anything but strangely, I do.
Do you feel music has inspired your writing?
Not really. I have a huge imagination, its' all I need.
What's your day job like?
Not many Erotica authors speak of their day jobs because Erotica writing is still sadly thought of as taboo so I keep that part of my life private.
Are you an introvert or extrovert?
Complete Introvert, funny because I was a bartender for ten years, so I can change like a chameleon when need be, but the true me, is definitely an introvert.
What is your favorite or most fun place to shop online?
Etsy, everything is home made and anything is on there.
What's your best vacation experience?
I have a blast wherever I go, Just getting away is awesome enough, as much fun as I have with my husband there couldn't possibly be just one or two great experiences, we have a lot of fun together and with our children.
What technological advancement could you not live without?
The computer, I feel bad for folks who cannot even send an email, I hope I'm never like that. I don't want my kids to bypass me and I know they will.
