What's your book about?

Life's to short to play it safe …

Since her sister’s death, twenty-year-old Paisley Donovan, who shares her sister’s heart condition, is treated like delicate glass by her parents. But nothing will stop her from completing her Bucket List-even if it kills her. And it almost does, until Jagger Bateman pulls her from the ocean and breathes more than air into her lungs-he sets her soul on fire.

Jagger is enrolled in the country’s toughest flight school. He’s wickedly hot, reckless, and perfect for a girl looking to live life to the fullest. Except that Paisley is the commanding general's daughter, and her boyfriend is Jagger's biggest rival. Now Paisley must decide just how much to risk for a guy who makes her heart pound a little too hard.

They’re flying through dangerous territory-and one wrong move could make them crash and burn...

What should readers expect from you titles?

Emotional New Adult stories with good amount of heat and a ton of heart.

What's next for you as an author?

There's two more books in the series to follow, so I'm writing Grayson's story before I head back to Josh & Ember!

What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

Social Media. Problem is, signing in for a second eats up way more time than I intended!

Do you feel music has inspired your writing?

Music is always my biggest inspiration. I'd be lost without Spotify. I'll hit repeat on a song until I nail a scene, and always have a playlist ready for each novel. For Eyes Turned Skyward, I was definitely on a Gabrielle Aplin and Dropkick Murpheys kick!

What's your everyday life like? Do you write full-time or do you also hold another job?

My life resembles a three-ring circus! I'm a mom of six, one of whom we foster, our four boys play hockey, and I'm a military wife to my very handsome army aviator. This basically means that I never know what to expect on any given day, and I like people to call before they stop over, since my house often looks like four little boys ransacked it, and there's a high chance someone is running around naked while I'm yelling, "no, really, where are your pants?" So I full-time mom, and write as time permits.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I'm definitely an introvert. I'm happiest at home, and joke with my husband that I'm a hermit. I can hold my own in a crowd, but secretly I'm probably inching toward the door, looking for my first opportunity to escape. That being said, I do love to get together with friends!

Wrapping Up:

Thank you so much to the fans who loved Full Measures enough that Eyes Turned Skyward was born! You guys rock my socks!
