Current Release: Witness to Passion, Guarding Her Body series, #1

What's your book about?

In Witness to Passion, Fallon Wayland witnesses a gangland hit--just another awful birthday in a long line of awful birthdays. Althoouugh murder might top them all. Ex-soldier-turned-security specialist and her best friend's older brother, Shane Roarke, steps in to protect her from the murderer whose sole goal is shutting Fallon up--permanently. Shane and Fallon have a tumultuous history, which includes a super hot but ill-fated kiss. And though they are total opposites, the heat between them has only burned hotter through the years, not extinguished. So holed up in a safe house together, they have to decide whether or not to surrender to the passion between them even as a murderer hunts them down... *cue the bow-chicka-wow-wow and the evil Thriller cackle here*

What should readers expect from you titles?

I love to give readers everything I love to receive from my favorite authors' books. Deep emotion, a larger-than-life love, and combustible passion. Then throw in a little murder and mayhem for fun... :-)

Which authors do you follow religiously?

Nalini Singh. I would post the picture of the shrine I have to her in my closet, but that might get me slapped with a TRO *cough* another one *cough* and featured on an episode of STALKER, so I'll refrain. LOL!! My other "I would chain you to the furnace with a laptop and water so you all could do is write and churn out books" fave authors are Beth Kery, Kylie Scott and Tessa Bailey. Oh, and Sugar Jamison...yeah, I have a radiator for her, too. Does this sound as creepy to you as it does to me...ROTFL!!

What's next for you as an author?

Well, currently I'm working on Book 2 in the Guarding Her Body series as well as working on edits for my upcoming contemporary romance Beauty and the Bachelor, which is releasing in August with Entangled Publishing's Indulgence line. I'm supah excited about that!

What is your favorite way to procrastinate?

Two words: Cookie. Jam.

If you could have dinner with an author, who would it be?

I would love to have dinner with Maya Angelou. The woman was great. That word seems so insufficient, but it's all I have. She was Great. I would just sit there at the table, eat the rare steak with loaded baked potato and asparagus and listen to her talk. Just listen. Because I've never heard her speak or read one of her works without walking away changed. She would cause a quickening in my spirit because her words never failed to make me see more of myself--who I was, am and have the potential of being. I think if I actually had a chance to sit down and have dinner with her, I would walk away as the Naima I'm supposed to be in twenty years.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

Introvert. I know. Hard to believe, right? But yes, I really am. LOL!!

Wrapping Up:

Thank you to everyone--readers, authors and bloggers--for reading and supporting me! Each of you, whether it's with an email, review, promotion, or posting pics of man candy for inspiration, have been awesome, and I adore you for it! And thank you, Night Owl Reviews, for letting me darken your cyber doorstep! LOL!
