Current Release: Can't Resist A Cowboy

What's your book about?

He's always been her weakness...

Injured and discharged, Marine Levi Haywood has returned to his family's ranch to heal and start a new life. After all, once a cowboy, always a cowboy. The only problem? Life at the ranch has moved on since he joined the service, and suddenly his role in the family business is much less clear. And things get a lot more confusing when the woman he left behind returns home.

Carrie Lynn Waite has never known a time when she didn't love Levi. They were childhood sweethearts, but because of her health, she was forced to move to the city, away from the ranching life. Now Carrie's come home only to learn her family's ranch is in trouble and Levi is back, along with an undeniable attraction she can't resist. But some things never change, forcing Carrie to choose the future laid out before her...or the cowboy she could never resist.

What should readers expect from you titles?

Relatable characters, real life plots, deep emotion and steamy lovin'!

What's next for you as an author?

I'm working on my next series, a small town contemporary series set on an island in the Great Lakes. Residents are a bit on the quirky side, love finds people in unexpected ways, and an touch of magic blends with deeply emotional challenges that keep the town on its toes.

Getting a book to market often takes a village. Who has helped you on the way?

It really does take a village and I'm so lucky to have amazing friends, fans and family in mine. I'm a member of a few great writing groups, and these ladies keep me sane and help keep the order in things. Without them, I'd be an even worse mess than normal! I'm also blessed with an amazing street team, The E-Team who helps with early reviews, promotion, support and just good fun! Of course, my family is a big part of what I do, and keep me motivated and encouraged every day.

What's a writing day like for you?

It changes depending on the time of year. While my kids are in school, I start writing about 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. Then, in the fall, I switch to writing after everyone is in bed-- usually 9-ish until I can't keep my eyes open any more.

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I'm a total introvert. Sometimes I walk the line between introvert and extrovert, but given the choice, I prefer to hide away in my writing cave with my laptop and never-ending cup of coffee. I can chat with people online, no problem. But put me in a crowd? I get hives just thinking about it.

What is your favorite or most fun place to shop online?

I'm an Etsy junkie! I've found everything from gorgeous artisan jewelry to naughty mini soaps for a giveaway. I've had to put myself on a self-imposed Etsy ban more than once. From gluten free goodies, to clothes for my girl's dolls, the site has everything and is addicting to browse. www.etsy.com

Wrapping Up:

Readers of the Paint River Ranch series have been so loyal and supportive. Thank you so much! Knowing that so many of you have been waiting for this book just warms my heart.
