Hello Cynthia. Thanks for stopping over and sharing your book "Rogue Of The Moors". What is the book about?

A widow finds love with a Scottish Highlander and is nearly murdered because of it.

What should readers expect from you titles?

Strong Alpha males and equally strong heroines.

If you could have dinner with an author, who would it be?

Marion Zimmer Bradley, author of “The Mists of Avalon”

What's your everyday life like? Do you write full-time or do you also hold another job?

I am a zombie in the mornings. If I had to write then, I would be staring at a blank page. I schedule writing time from 1:30 pm -5:00 pm six days a week. The goal is to write a minimum of one scene a day. (That may sound dreadfully slow, like the turtle competing with the hare, but one-a-day allows a novel to be finished in about 10-12 weeks. I previously taught high school English and was an adjunct at Texas A&M—CC where I supervised student teachers. Now, I like to travel to the UK and Europe.

What's your writing process like?

I am a plotter. A full-length novel generally consists of approximately 90-100 scenes. I start with basic chapter ideas and then fill in as the characters grow. Also, I believe in Rule # 2 from Steven Covey’s “Seven Habits for Highly Effective People”: “Begin with the end in mind.”

Are you an introvert or extrovert?

I like meeting people, but I am basically an introvert. I need quiet time to myself at the end of each day (along with a glass of wine and mood music!)

What's next for you as an author?

I am working on a Regency Rakes trilogy with heroes who are psychologically flawed. I am also planning another Scottish Highland romance featuring the Clan MacDonald.

Thanks again for joining us.

I love hearing from readers…

Also, please keep reading and encouraging everyone you know to do the same!!!
