Ahhh, but maybe they will be punished in another lifetime, MCV. That opens up a whole new subject, doesn't it?

No, I don't believe in karma, though I wish it existed. So many people get away with evil deeds it would be nice if they got their just deserts in this lifetime.

I think it is about choices and what happens with those choices... thanks for sharing!

I definitely believe in the 'treat others as you would want to be treated' philosophy but also in the "God helps those who help themselves" adage...so, no, don't believe that 'resistance is futile'. Thank you for visiting and for the giveaway.

That's the question, isn't it, Jennifer? Decisions and luck play a big part in life, Joanne. Often, bad decisions equal bad luck!

Thanks for the interesting post. I think it's based on decisions and luck, I'm not sure about karma.

I often consider if my decision to something was the result things or if it would have happened anyway. I still can't decide!

Good way to put it, MaryC, what goes around comes around. You're right, Erin, but sadly, a lot of people don't want to accept the consequences of their action

Thanks for a very thought provoking post! I'm a karma skeptic although I do believe that every choice has a consequence both good and bad and that by making the choice you accept the consequence. That's why, even though someone may be a very good person, if they make a bad decision they still have to accept the consequences and their good character has no influence on that. The soccer mom who is a pillar of the community and drives drunk, resulting in a car accident that kills someone. Even if her friends and family rally around her and say what an excellent person she is, she should still be sentenced to jail tie b/c that is the consequence of her choice to drive drunk.

I think what happens depends on the road we choose. I believe in what goes around, comes around.

Interesting post. I think it's a little bit based on karma and a little bit based on our decisions.
