Do You Ever Have Book Boredom? Paranormal Romance to Tease Your Senses
Do you ever suffer from book boredom? I think I’ve hit that point. And it’s not that I’m tired of books. I’m tired of the same thing. It’s like eating your favorite food for days on end. At some point you need a different flavor.
That’s where I’m at. I need something fresh that will knock my socks off. I have stacks and stacks of books I have not read yet but right now nothing is grabbing me. Nothing is jumping off the shelf screaming “READ ME!”
To cleanse the pallet I’ve been reading non-fiction. Some for research for books, other stuff just because it was interesting. But those books are not doing the trick.
I want to lose myself in a story. I’ve picked up five or six books and tried, but they just didn’t grab me. And it wasn’t that they weren’t good or interesting, I know I’ll go back to them later. I just need “something” that really sinks its teeth into me, a story that grips me tight and won’t let go until I’ve finished the book.
Do you ever experience this? Do you hot book boredom levels where you crave something different? What pulled you out of your reading rut?
There are many awesome new releases this month. Perhaps one of them will yank me out of my bookish despair.
I've also included some urban fantasy. Maybe those will help any of you in a rut.
