Cats and love
One of my "fun" books to write has been a collection of Short stories and novellas, Cat O' Nine Tales. (Sorry, Jeffery Archer, I had the title first! lol. I am sure he is worried about the competition! Not!). Each story features romance, naturally, but they also have some very interesting cats. Not you usual cats, these are very "human-like" kitties who cannot understand why romance is so confusing to humans.
Nine tales of the power of love under the watchful eye of some very special pussycats, who always know best. There is Auggie Moggie, Jack, Basil, Cyril, Sinnjinn, Elvis, Edward, Bubba--and we mustn't forget Simon. Simon is a very special cat, indeed, as his owner is about to find out.
Half of my royalties are being donated to Alley Cats - http://alleycats.org
- helping homeless cats find homes and rescueing feral cats. So far they have already received two checks because of this book.
This is a tradesize book, in library quality edition, and makes a wonderful gift for people who love romances and cats.
Most of the kitties in this book are based on cats that have graced my life and brought me companionship and love. I guess in a way I am keeping their spirits alive by making their characters in my stories.
Some are paranormals, some are plain contemporary romances, and even a Regency historical. A little something to please everyone.
I loved writing them. Love that half my efforts go to help other kitties.
The book has won many awards:
