Book Lover Gift Guide 2018
I love giving gifts and getting ones as well. But it can be hard finding the perfect gift for friends and love ones. I've been cruising the web and looking for inspiration and I thought you would like to see what I've found. Book lovers abound in my family and these are some of the items they would like. Reading isn't about just having a book. It's about getting comfy and settling in for hours of enjoyable reading time. Do you have a book lover in your family? Maybe one of these items would be perfect for them.
Every book lover needs a set of Bookshelves be they small, large, stylish or not. Books need a home. I have two sets similar to the white ones above. I love them. They are simple and show off my books lovingly. Plus they are not too hard to install.
Nothing says warm and cozy like Cute Animal House Slippers. I found these lovable ones on Amazon. The insides look so soft and inviting. The cute animals on the outside have me wanting to make new friends. They all just have me smiling and wanting them all. Squeeeeee. They come in sizes for kids, women and men's.
Pins are a great way for a book lover to showcase a bit of bling and tell other people of their love of the written word. Pins come in a variety of colors, themes and styles. I love all three here even though they are quite different. The green Book Worm Pin says it all with shape and words. The cute Sloth Enamel Pin is just so sweet and will have your giftee smiling. The "A good book is always too short" pin was inspired by a Jane Austen quote and gets right to the point when it comes to book lover themes. These are all great gifts or stocking stuffers.
During those long reading hours I love to have a warm mug of hot coco / tea or a cold soda. This Yeti Insulated Mug means hours of reading without a my hot drink going cold or my cold drink going room temp. It comes with a standard pull off top, but for added comfort a Yeti MagSlider Lid is available. The mug comes in a variety of colors, but my two favorites are the Harbor Pink and Seafoam green.
Book Lovers can now buy Scented Book Lover Candles featuring bookish themes. It's time to relax... maybe on the bed, in the bath or in a comfy chair. All of these places would be great with an added scent with a bookish theme. Plus the creator of these candles is a Brittany Smith, a book lover. Her company is Novelly Yours Candles. These candles would be great as wrapped gifts or a surprise in the stocking.
Us book lovers read a lot and keeping track of what we read, what we though and when can be hard. These book journals can help us keep track and reflect back on our reading journey. Plus no forgetting great titles and authors any more. I love the size of the The Book Lover's Journal. It's small enough to slip into a pocket or small bag. The Books I've Read - A Reader's Journal is a bit larger, but has more space to write details. Plus I like how you can flip the pages over. For a bit more stylish option the My Bibliofile: A Reading Journal for Book Lovers Diary fits the bill. It's just so colorful!
Snacking and reading go hand in hand for me. I have a set of Ceramic Colorful Ramekins that are the perfect size to have a small snack and not end up eating too much. With these fun colors This is one of those fun gifts I can give out to my family. They can use them for baking and snacking.
