Ursula Whistler transplanted to New Orleans four years ago from central Virginia. The culture shock wasn't too terrible since she spent most of her life in northwest Florida, which everyone considers lower Alabama. She's got two degrees that have nothing to do with literature or writing, and she'll tell you more than you want to know about that if you ask her.
While pregnant with the second of her three children, she had a recurring dream that she dutifully wrote. We all know how dreams go, thin plot and lots of deus ex machina. She learned to not show that manuscript to anyone even after she edited it. She continued to write paying closer attention to plot, and she joined RWA and the Southern Louisiana Romance Writers. That has made all the difference.
Her first story, Party Favors, is an erotic romance set in present day New Orleans and tells the tale of a girl who needs just a bit of help to feel how she'd like to feel. That's the nicest way to say it without making some people blush. In February from Rebel Ink Press, you can read Basically Bad, set in the wilds of Louisiana.
You can find her on the web at UrsulaWhistler.com, where she blogs about writing, inspiration for writing, and her oversized Bichon Frise. Ursula will always say that she isn't bad, she just writes that way.
Looking for inspiration, designer Genevieve Hoffman agrees to an apartment swap and heads to the south of France. But when the apartment owner's brother returns from deployment, she finds herself with a man who inspires fantasies rather than fashion.

But the woman making breakfast in his kitchen isn't his sister. He might not understand a word coming out of her mouth, but he has no problem reading body language and likes what she's saying just fine.

It had been for the best...back then. But when he sees her years later across a crowded bar, he has one burning desire--to have her back in his life and bed again.
With a new job and her father's estate to settle, Professor Kirsten Tanner wants a peaceful existence. The return of the handsome flight instructor who broke her heart and lit a fire to her desires challenges that. She's determined not to fall victim to his quiet charm again, but the need to show him she too can love him and leave him is much too tempting. But one touch from Duff and Kirsten begins to wonder if maybe they can have more than one night of ecstasy.
Yoga instructor Diana Courbet wants to celebrate the end of a messy divorce in the best way possible, starting with a one night stand with the sexy, tousle-haired artist in her yoga class. He's been the object of her desire for close to a year, and while he might be worth more than one sexy evening, that's all her heart is willing to risk.
Mathias Kuning wants two things--to be a successful artist and Diana. Over the past year, he's painted Diana in a series of nudes that show how much he's grown to care for his beautiful muse. But to become a successful artist he has to show the sensual pieces, and to show them, she has to agree.
Will the risque poses of Mathias' creation be the very thing that keeps Diana in his arms...or drives her out of his life forever?
