When I was in school I struggled to read. My writing papers always looked as if the teacher shot them with buck shot because there were so many red marks on them.
Then one day my mom gave me a romance book to read and I discovered my love of reading. Years later, after reading a book I didn't like, I was very naive and thought I could write a book. It was not long before I discovered writing was a lot harder than I thought.
I joined a local writing group and the Romance Writers of America. I worked with several critique groups until I found the group that worked for me. I would not have accomplished as much as I have with their help.
The most important part of my life is my family. My husband and I have two married children and three grandchildren. We live in the beautiful Pacific Northwest and we love the out-of-doors.
