I was born in New York, and raised in both Queens, NY and San Antonio, TX. As a shy young girl, writing was my creative outlet. Mini plays, short stories, poems and even a few comic strips were created from my love of writing and reading books. I also love to blog about relationships and social issues when I have the time.
Reading was my first love, and since the age of 8 I have read hundreds of books from all genres. I can get lost in a good story, and have to finish reading the book in one day. Writing is my second love. Once the seeds of a story are planted in my mind, I have to see it bloom to the very end. I tend to write just like I think, so any subject will have a hint of humor to it. I can't help it.
Here are a few books that moved me or inspired my own creative voice!
The Alchemist,The Celestine Prophecy, Bared to You, Erotique Noire/Black Erotica, When Rabbit Howls, Beloved, Love Play, Sweet Savage Love, A Tale of Two Cities, Waiting to Exhale,The Secret Garden,The Count of Monte Cristo,Disappearing Acts,The Kathleen Turner Series,Gone With the Wind, Romeo and Juliet, Charlotte's Web, Flowers in the Attic, Gone Girl,Addicted, The Art of War,The Unbearable Lightness of Being,Pride and Prejudice,Ulysses, The Epic of Gilgamesh, and Flowers for Algernon.
My name is Red…and I kill things for a living.
I was never supposed to fall in love. All I knew was hate, fighting, and killing—and I did those things very well. That bastard of a wolf stole the only person in the world who ever meant anything to me...and losing her broke something inside of me. That was until I met Lowell...and suddenly I didn't know what was up or down, who I could trust, or why the one man who made my heart beat again would hide a dangerous secret from me. In the end, would my hate cause me to crash and burn, or could I redeem myself of all the wrong I’ve done?
